I'm a displaced New Englander who married the Midwestern farmer who stole her heart (yes, we met on the Internet) and then found her forever home in Fort Collins, Colorado.
I've been working for myself for over a decade. Our family has grown to three children in that time, and any new place we consider moving into has to have home office space for both my husband and myself. We make parenting and business all work together because for us, our life works best when the edges overlap.
To date I've written on topics as varied as OB/GYN and pregnancy, teambuilding, sex, parenting, restaurant marketing, literary travel, B-to-B purchasing, social media, and photocopiers. Absorbing a topic well enough to know how to write about it for your audience is where I excel—and it's why people hire me.
I love skiing, Richard Russo, New England autumns, road trips, the West Wing, Laura Ingalls Wilder, and making a mess in the kitchen.
