I'm a displaced New Englander who married the Midwestern farmer who stole her heart. (Yes, we met on the Internet.) For ten years I've been running my own writing and editing business. I have repeat clients who trust me, whether it's for ace copy editing, writing web site copy, streamlining bloated paragraphs, or making what you already wrote better than you thought it could be.

Although I still write for magazines here and there (a fellowship I won resulted in this piece about preterm babies), these days the bulk of my work appears without my byline or credit. I'm here to make my clients sound better.

My husband and I have two kids, Sky and her younger brother, Wilder. I love skiing, Richard Russo, New England autumns, road trips, the West Wing, Laura Ingalls Wilder*, and making a mess in the kitchen.
