When you hire me, that’s the first thing I’ll ask: What’s the story? No matter who I’m writing for or what I’m writing about, there’s always a story. The story might be food truck culture in Fort Collins, or the fundamental reason your business exists, or why I took my family to South Dakota, or how to fight a destructive insect. It might, and can, be anything—anything that matters to your readers.
